I am drawn to explore the intricate web of relationships that define our lives, be it the connections between couples, groups of people, or even the profound relationship we have with ourselves.   With paint as my medium, I seek to capture the myriad ways we navigate that life.

My artistic expression is not confined to a single style: I embrace both abstract and realistic forms.  This offers me the flexibility to explore a wide range of feelings and experiences, from the solitary introspection of individuals to the interplay of emotions within groups of people.

When I stand before a blank canvas, my creative process often begins with spontaneous strokes of paint, covering its surface in a riot of colors.   At times, I immerse the canvas in a gentle wash of diluted hues, allowing it to absorb the colors overnight.   In subsequent sessions, I venture into the painting, using black paint to draw out the imagery until I achieve the composition I envision.  As I work on the canvas, I make choices, painting over what doesn’t resonate, scraping away layers of paint, or leaving areas untouched, until the desired visual effect emerges.

Through the transformative power of paint on canvas and paper, my art serves as a visual journey through the shifting landscape of relationships.  I invite viewers to connect with the stories I tell and the emotions I capture.
